Thank you Lisa Young from “The Hopechest”

I have recently met a wonderful lady named Lisa Young.  She runs a non-profit called “The Hopechest”.  Her organization can be found at www.thehopechest.org.  I highly recommend checking it out because I love what she does for local families in need.

Lisa has spent some time talking with me lately and really encouraging me.  She sat down at a computer and showed me how she does what she does.  Lisa is excellent at finding grants from corporations that want to donate to worthy causes.

With the knowledge that she has given me, I have been able to apply for several grants.  I also learned a lot about the companies in my local area.  Many are very generous and it has given me a new appreciation for all that they do.

I found an organization that donates soccer equipment to non-profits!  I was so excited to find that organization and after reading the grant application, I really feel good about how we can help each other.  They want soccer equipment to go to underprivileged children in the world and that’s what I am doing.

The last few weeks have been very exciting….thank you Lisa for pouring gasoline on my fire!
